Today is Red Nose Day, a day when we are encouraged to “Do Something Funny for Money.”  In other words, fight poverty through humour and fun, to help communities here in the UK and around the world.  Christians should reflect joyfulness and happiness. 

Psalm 126 tells us:

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”

Humour makes us smile and laugh.  Sometimes at the bizarre or perhaps at an unusual observation.  We convey happiness and joy to others as well as lifting our own spirits.  It can be read, spoken, seen, or heard. 

Try reading one of these books to get your dimples dimpling and your eyes twinkling!  When we are seen laughing, wouldn’t it be wonderful if others, indeed, commented that, “The Lord has done great things for them,”?
