Back to School
29/08/2023In my family, I am the only one who had both success and failure with exams. I felt embarrassed, ashamed and the failure of the family. My brothers had had great success in exams at a variety of levels and then there came me. They were very supportive and didn’t make fun of me, but their kindness almost made me feel worse. You can tell that I focussed on the negative and not the positive in this situation.
I am sure that today there will have been many who felt similar to me. However, we need to celebrate our successes and remember that in order to succeed we often need failure in our lives.
“Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter.” – Francis Chan.
There is help of many kinds available for the next step in our journey.
God tells us to remember this:
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
Trust in God and He will guide you through this joyful or difficult time.
