This is generally the week when children and students return to school or college. It can be a daunting time for children and adults alike. My neice commented that this was the first year she hadn’t cried when taking her daughter (who is eight) to school after the holidays!

Oasis has a range of resources available to help with the beginning of term: books for adults and children, pens, notepads etc We want to make the starting or continuation of school as comfortable for the children as possible. It may be that something has happened during the first week and a book could help them to cope. Come in for a browse.
