• Very active especially when climbing trees;
• Cute;
• Small;
• Inquisitive;
• Constantly looking for food;
• Good at burying things and then forgetting where they are;
• Constantly growing teeth
• Excellent jumpers
• and…..and….and

I suspect you may have guessed where I am going with this. Yes, there is a similarity between the animal and a young child (apart from the fur and long tail)! Maybe that is why the starter group in the Guides and Scouts progression is called “Squirrels.”

Looking at the picture above, Squirrels (the human kind) are also celebrating Squirrel Day. All joking aside, this is a good time to remind you that Oasis stocks some Squirrel uniform alongside that for older children.
