Another thoughtful week for those receiving exam results. Whether good or disappointing, choices will have to be made. We need to be ready to support these children and to take advice ourselves on what we should do.

It is empowering to be able to make a choice, but each choice has consequences. We may make the wrong decision, then try to put things right. Dr Phil McGraw wrote

It is exhausting trying to chose the right thing, but better to be tired than confused and going round in circles. Isaiah 30:21 reminds us: “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”

Let us and those students we try to help, listen to the voice of God and follow His way.
