Recently, there have been some tragic events in the news that seem to have been triggered by Social Media. The pressure to use social media to keep up with friends and find or share information is high. Although there are meant to be safeguards on several sites, unhealthy posts can still get through.

However, Safer Internet Day took place during the week. This special celebration aims to raise awareness of a safer and better internet for all, and especially for children and young people.
